This past week, I went to Houston with my daughter and grand baby. He’s a patient at Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The people there are on top of things. The surgeon that worked on his lips is a genuinely caring person that will go the extra mile to explain things to us. I cannot express enough how incredibly blessed we feel with all of this.
As I look back at the trip, I am reminded just how much I love my children and my grandchild. The love I feel for them, the concern, the feelings of wanting to take care of them is ever present in my life. I looked at my grandson and thought that it’s a wonderful thing to be a grand parent. It’s a wonderful thing to see the next generation coming into being, learning and growing… becoming. I hope that I can be a good influence on him all the days of his life.
Until next time, I wish you all the love that can be received. You are loved. If not by your parents or grandparents, by God. He loves you more than anyone else on earth. (Romans 8:38-39 “I’m absolutely convinced that nothing – nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable – absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.” (The Message) Find peace and contentment in that.
